Volleyball Camp

Each summer, West Coast Baptist College hosts a week filled with volleyball, volleyball, and more volleyball! Each day begins with team clinic sessions instructed by WCBC’s head volleyball coach, Melodie Workman, and several of her college players. The other half of the day is designated for a full bracket tournament. At the end of the week, a trophy will be awarded to the tournament champion. On Friday morning after the championship game, all teams will travel to nearby Valencia to spend the rest of the day at Six Flags Theme Park. Space is limited, so register your team early!

Camp Information

Age Group: 7th - 12th grade

PRICING OPTIONS:
Complete Package - $70
Includes lodging Monday through Thursday nights (dorm supervisor present), meals Monday noon through Friday noon, individual and team instruction, camp t-shirt, awards, and Six Flags Theme Park ticket.

Bonus Package - $55
Includes lodging Monday through Thursday nights (dorm supervisor present), individual and team instruction, camp t-shirt, awards, and Six Flags Theme Park ticket. Meals are not included.

Express Package - $45
Includes lodging Monday through Thursday nights (dorm supervisor present), individual and team instruction, camp t-shirt, and awards. Meals and theme park tickets are not included.

Meal Pass - $20
Additional meal passes include lunch Monday through Friday of camp week.

Arrival: Monday registration starts at 11:00 A.M. Camp begins at 12:00 P.M.
Departure: Friday at 5:00 P.M.

What to Bring: In addition to volleyball gear, you will need to bring toiletries, towels/washcloths, a Bible and notebook, a pillow, and a sleeping bag or bedding for a twin bed. If desired, you may bring spending money for drinks/snacks.
Do Not Bring: iPods, laptops, electronic games, CD, DVD, or mp3 players, pranks, rock music, cigarettes, alcohol, magazines, a bad attitude, or any weapons. No radios, drugs, firearms, explosives, or profanity are permitted.

Attire: Young Ladies – Camp attire is modest t-shirts and knee-length sports shorts or culottes. For activities, you may wear knee-length denim skirts or culottes and modest t-shirts. For Wednesday night, knee-length skirts or dresses are appropriate. Slits may be no higher than the middle of the knee. No low-cut, immodest, revealing or tight fitting clothing may be worn.

Mrs. Workman has served as the head coach of the West Coast Baptist College ladies’ volleyball team for 4 years. In addition to serving on the faculty of West Coast Baptist College, she conducts high school volleyball camps throughout the United States each summer.
